Svizra27 extends over the entire Northwest Switzerland region. The eleven themes are presented at ten locations and on the journeys between them.
A space for experience created by river connections: visitors can experience possible futures around specific themes in the space time capsules, actively participate in the “Game of Ideas”, help to shape the future at the Basel forum and plan their travel to and between the locations to the theme of “Mobility and space”.
Each theme in the sequence is connected to a location. This location is clarified with the corresponding canton, community and property owner. These clarifications serve as the basis for further planning and details. Alternatives shall be prepared should a considered site no longer be available due to planning delays. Two alternative locations shall be selected for the Basel forum to show that the implementation of drawn content and format is not dependent on a specific site. Executed in more detail than the others is the space time capsule in Stein AG on the theme “Food and environment”.
The locations on the following pages are presented as they are found clockwise geographically for spatial orientation (and not because the space time capsules and forum should be visited in any particular order).
