A national exhibition should ask the great questions of the time, deliver new impulses for the future of Switzerland and strengthen solidarity.
Svizra27 brings together stakeholders in society, business, culture and politics from across Switzerland, both geographically and conceptually, in a major joint endeavour about itself and the future of our countries. Instinctively, different perceptions come together. A national exhibition also serves as a dialogue: a great shared talk in which we learn from one another, sharpen or question our own beliefs and are able to work on a great and shared whole. Each national exhibition is a milestone: encounter and comprehension, discovery and inspiration, joy and exuberance.
Svizra27 greets this task with three elements: a decentralised yet concentrated geographical setting in Northwestern Switzerland which connects urban and rural spaces, an abundance of topics and formats, and a bracket that holds everything – “Experiencing the future through play, shaping the future together.”
